Description
A nice example of the Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments and other Rites and Ceremonies, together with the King James Holy Bible and Apocrypha, all bound in the same volume.
Published in 1739 and 1738 respectively, by John Baskett.
A few genealogy references on the fly sheet, but otherwise without annotation. The leather covered boards, which I believe are the originals, have faired very well for their near three hundred years. The pages within are preserved in very good condition.
Both boards are split, held in place by cords. Leather is worn and missing in several places. Pages appear to be complete, text crisp and readable, tight margins with some trimming of text, some browning to pages. Please see all photos for condition.
