Though known for its magnificent illustrations and beauty, this edition also contained numerous typographical errors, leading it to be nicknamed “A Baskett-full-of-errors”.

Thomas continued the tradition of printing high-quality Bibles and maintained the title of King’s Printer. Bibles printed by Thomas Baskett, including the 1753 edition, are known for their high quality.
