Title for the Whole Book of Common Prayer dated 1734 present.
Full leather binding, gilt titles, raised bands, gilt page edges. Illustrated with 47 full page plates with figures from the Bible and scenes from British History.
Unpaginated. Signatures or collation: lacking A1, A8 to A12, C3 and F9; A2 to A7, B to N in gatherings of 12, O8; Psalms complete with A to D in gatherings of 12.
4 pages torn in half but present, one of the full page engravings with a closed tear the length of the plate.
Approximately 5 ½ inches tall.

Externally
- Spine – fair condition – gilt titles, 5 raised bands, worn top and tail with some loss.
- Joints – good condition – rubbed and worn.
- Corners – good condition – bumped and worn.
- Boards – good condition – full leather boards with blind tooled borders, marks and scratches.
- Page edges – good condition – all gilt.

Internally
- Hinges – good condition – sound.
- Paste downs – good condition – plain yellow.
- End papers – good condition – plain yellow, the signature of Thomas A. Cotton, July 1840 is written on the first free end paper, subsequent end papers are tanned and foxed, other signatures Thomas Wright and the date 1736 to subsequent end paper.
- Title – good condition – no title page for the Book of Common Prayer, title for Psalms tanned.
- Pages – fair to good condition – text in two columns, with red linear border and red line down the centre of the page, 47 full page b/w plates, tanned and foxed throughout.
- Binding – good condition.
