Period full American leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands, gilt title lettering on contrasting red leather label. Volume Two of a two volume set. This volume complete unto itself. Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Binding age worn, leather rubbed and scuffed, front cover detached, rear joint cracked with cover held only by binding cords. Fly-Leaf detached. Text block paper is toned, light scattered age spotting, internally still well preserved, tight, sound. Attractive on the shelf. Book displays a unique age patina, the age flaws are fairly easy to overlook or forgive given the rarity of the book. Please see all photos for condition.
